A guide to special evolutions

Hello, This is a guide for the people who wants to know how to get more special pokemon for your Pokedex and for the people who don't bother looking it up. HAHA lazy xD [P.s this is for diamond and pearl]



First is Gender Evolution

• Combee will evolve to Vespiqueen at lvl 21 if the combee is female.

• Any Burmy will evolve into either Wormadam at lvl 20 if it is female or Mothim at lvl 20 if it is male.

Second is when items are attached and pokemon is lvled up

• Gligar will evolve into a Gliscor if it is holding razor fang and it is lvled up at night.

• Sneasel will evolve into a Weavile if it is holding a razor claw and it is lvled up at night.

• Happiny will evolve into a Chansey if it is holding an oval stone and it is lvled up in the Morning.

Third are the Area based evolutions.

• Eevee will evolve into Glaceon if you lvl it up around the ice rock on route 217.

• Eevee will evolve into Leafeon if you lvl it up around the moss rock in Eterna Forest.

• Magneton will evolve into Magnezone if it is lvled up in Mt.Coronet.

• Nosepass will evolve into Probopass if it is lvled up in Mt.Coronet.

Fourth is Known Attack Evolutions

• Lickitung is Evolved into Lickilicky once it knows rollout

• Tangela is Evolved into Tangrowth once it knows ancientpower

• Yanma is Evolved into Yanmega once it knows ancientpower

• Piloswine is Evoled into Mamoswine once it knows ancientpower

• Aipom is Evolved into Ambipom once it knows Double hit

• Bosly is Evolved into Sudowoodoo once it knows mimic

• Mime jr. is Evolved into Mr. Mime once it knows mimic

Fifth is other pokemon evolution

• Mantyke will evolve into Mantine if Remoraid is in Party

Sixth is traded with held items

• Rydon will evolve into Ryperior if traded while holding Protecter

• Electabuzz will evolve into Eletivire if traded while holding Electrizer

• Magmar will evolve into Magmortar if traded while holding Magmizer

• Porygon 2 will evolve into Porygon-Z if traded while holding Dubious Disk

• Duskclops will evolve into Dusknoir if traded while holding Reaper Cloth

Seventh are stone evolutions

• Togetic will evolve into Togekiss if shiny stone is used on it

• Roselia will evolve into Roserade if shiny stone is used on it

• Murkrow will evolve into Honchkrow if dusk stone is used on it

• Misdreavus will evolve into Mismagius if dusk stone is used on it

• Male Kirlia will evolve into Gallade if dawn stone is used on it

• Female Snowrunt will evolve into Frosslass if dawn stone is used on it

Eighth is time based happiness

• Chingling will evolve into Chimeco if it is lvled up and is happy at night time

• Budew will evolve into Roselia if it is lvled up and is happy when it is day

Riolu will evolve into Lucario if it is lcled up and happy when it is day

i was trying to evolve a rydon and it was getting anoyying

yea not bad but y did the makers of pkm have to make so many annoying ones

is burmy even that good cause they made extra forms for him...

not really i dont care bout him got him once then bailed

i got him in all 3 forms thru pokesav and then released him

i just got his steel form which looks cool but thats it

i am going to get all 3 again for some reason

no point really

so lol ill max out there stats and own people with them

no were not it is about how to evolve shaymin into sky form lol that is special even tho its not really evolving but he looks awsome in sky form
