| Subject: How to keep track of ev's Thu Aug 14, 2008 6:41 am | |
| Hi, i read a forum on here and someone was wanting me to make a guide on how to keep track of ev's. I don't know how i will do but i will try to help as much as possible.
There are a few rules to keeping track of ev's...
1. The pokemon must be untouched when you start keeping track. Meaning that a pokemon can not have any exp after it is caught.
2. You have to know about pokerus, the macho brace, power items, and berries, ect. All the items that deals with ev's. Unless you won't be using them tho.
Ok that is enough on the rules. Now to start, it won't be long though.
One way is to find out what pokemon you will be facing and how many ev's it gives. For example, say it gives 2 but you have a power lens and pokerus. So the power lens adds 4 making the total now 6 pokerus then doubles the total making the new total 12. keep using the same move. And when you see its pp has decreased by 10. It now has 120 ev's. Now your thinking that dang 20 pokemon how do i do this? Well it is simple only use the vietimens for the stat you are ev'ing. Since where doing sp. atk im going to use 10(the max) calciums on my pokemon. When it says That will have no effect, your pokemon now has an additional 100 ev points. Making the total 220. Now, how do you find out when you have 35? Divide it by 12/ 36/12=3 or else you would have some left over so you need to battle 3 more pokemon to max out it's ev's.
The other way i do it is I use all the calcium i can making my total ev's to start out with 100. Now since i will be gaining 12 each time again. I am going to keep adding 12 till i get to 256. So i fight one and add 12 to make it 112, now fight another and add 12 to make it 124, and another and just keep adding 12 after each fight. I would not recomend this way because you may loose count.
Thank you for taking your time to read this and credits go to me and dagos for helping me choose this topic to write a guide on. | |
