Requirements for a Legit pokemon

I know this looks similar to Noriks thread but... this guide is to show how to make a legitimate pokemon. That other guide is how to tell a legit pokemon from a unlegit (fake) pokemon. Remember! THIS GUIDE IS FOR POKESAV USERS!!


This text is what i posted on pokesavs forum so i put it here and added some things...

Heres how to make legit but powerful pokemon so you arent discriminated... + they are useful to make usable pokemon on PBR
Defintions that you'll see---

1- In-game- Pokemon that is noramly caught in Sinnoh (Diamond/Pearl)
2- Out-of-game- Pokemon that is not caught in Sinnoh.
3- illigal- A pokemon that isnt legitimate, hacked
4- legit- short for legitimate, that pokemon meets the guidelines for a real, not hacked pokemon


1- EV stats can not equal over 510.
ex- 255 HP
255 attack
10 sp attack
255+255= 510. 510+10=520
This pokemon would not be legit

2 - (not really a requirement but) Dont worry about IV stats, make them as high as you want.

3 - "Caught at" Location. Make sure that the "Caught at" or "Place Met" (whatever you call it) is correct. THIS ESPICIALLY APLIES WITH LEGENDARY POKEMON. If it is not, Nintendo will detect that and cancel you out.
ex with non-legendary pokemon-
Gengar - Place Met = (Pal Park)* or Old Chateau

ex with legendary pokemon out-of-game-
Rayquaza- Place met= (Pal Park)*

ex with a legendary pokemon in-game-
Dialga- Place Met= Spear Pilar

ex with a non legendary pokemon out of game-
Blatoise - Place Met= (Pal Park)*

4 - Legit moveset. You must have moves that that pokemon can learn
ex of a illegal moveset- Latias
Roar of Time
Spacial Rend
Frenzy Plant
Judgment

ex of a legal moveset- Latias
Dragon Pulse
Thunder
Psychic
Ice Beam

Notice the *'s i put by (Pal Park)?You have to put (Pal Park) in the "Met in" location if that pokemon is out-of-game on the Pokemon edit menu. The Hometown corrdinate must equal the game that pokemon came from if your using (Pal Park). If that pokmeon is in-game, dont worry about putting (Pal Park), but make sure the "Hometown" is correct. That is really important. Here is something else that goes along with that.
5 (for the *'s) - Notice the "Home town" section in the Pokemon edit menu? This is important for (Pal Park) and other things not related to that.
ex of a out-of game pokemon-
Kyogre- Caught at/Met in location= (Pal Park), Hometown= Hoenn (Ruby, Saphire, or Emerald)**

ex of a in-game pokemon-
Palkia Caught at/Met in location= Spear Pilar, Home town = Sinnoh (Diamond or Pearl)**

Notice the **'s i put by the hometown places? This is also important. Here's an explaination.
6- Correct "Hometown" corrdinates. You dont want a Dialga with its hometown in Pokemon Silver (Johto)!!!
ex of a out-of-game illegal pokemon hometown corrdinate-
Ho-oh***- Hometown= Sinnoh (Diamond or Pearl)

ex of a in-game illegal pokemon hometown corrdinate-
Carnivine- Hometown= Johto (Silver or Gold)

ex of a legit out-of-game pokemon hometown corrdinate-
Bulbasaur- Hometown=Kanto(Fire red or Leaf Green)

ex of a legit in-game pokemon corridinate
Chimchar- Hometown= Sinnoh (Diamond or Pearl)

Notice the ***'s i put beside Ho-oh? Its because he is a pokemon from Silver or Gold. ALL POKEMON FROM JOHTO (Silver or Gold) CAN HAVE A HOMETOWN CORRDINATE THAT IS NOT FROM JOHTO. THEY CAN HAVE HOMETOWN CORRDINATES FROM HOENN (Ruby, Saphire, Emerald) ALSO. THEY CAN NOT HAVE A CORRDINATE FROM SINNOH (Diamond or Pearl) AS SHOWN IN THE EXAMPLE ABOVE.

7- The "Country" section in the pokemon edit menu. You should see that in the uper right corner. Im not sure if it matters or not if you fill that box out, but do it anyways. When you do fill it out, it doesnt matter what Country you put.


(Forgot to say this) 8- Pokemon Ability. Make sure that your Ability you put in for your pokemon matches the pokemons actual ability.

ex of a illegal ability-
Ho-oh with a Flash Fire Ability

ex of a legal ability-
Ho-oh with Pressure abilty (Ho-ohs actual ability)


There's my guide on what to do if your going to use a legit Pokemon on PBR's wifi. There are also other things i might have missed on what PBR checks, but these are the main things you'll run into.

Very well put together and all in all a very good guide I am sure it will help some people out.

There is a new system were you can get from 10-35 or so points for making a guide depending on how important the guide is and how good it is this is 25 you can add 25 points to your credits only admins can give the points for guides though.

I like the new system shouldn't u get points for adding helpful sites to the affliates also?

some people might have legit looking pokemon but there still from pokesav would they be considered hacked?
